The Guardian is a beam-shaped, nonlethal, area-denial weapon. The opponents who come in contact with its beam will endure effects similar to a stun grenade, such as reduced movement speed, blurred vision, and also a removed UI. Its impact is going to be massive during Multiplayer matches in case players are able to obtain it.

In the ongoing Beta weekend for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, players can get the chance of unlocking Guardian killstreak after reaching Level 5. However, to receive it during an online game, they will have to score a certain number of kills. As the name suggests, it’s a killstreak, right?

There are five classic maps as well to complement them in different matches. During the ongoing Beta weekend, players can try out Favela, Rust, Estate, Skidrow, and Popov Power Plant. A sixth map called Highrise will arrive on the second weekend.

Then there’s another iconic mode, from the Black Ops series, making its way to the Modern Warfare universe in 2023. The open world Zombies mode is something players can enjoy right now.
