The miserable state of Call of Duty is not hidden from anyone, especially the hardcore lovers of the action franchise, who have mostly embraced its numerous installments. Sadly, Activision’s FPS magic has faded away with recent offerings like Vanguard, followed by Modern Warfare II & Warzone 2.

Although the developers are still trying their best to lure the players, nothing seems to be working in their favor. The series has reached the point where it can lose out on fans if the makers don’t do something revolutionary before it’s too late. Well, someone has now got a blueprint for Activision to take notes and work on a Call of Duty title that every gamer would like to enjoy.

TheGhostofHope is a reputed industry insider and one of the most reliable scoopers. Recently, the user came up with an interesting Twitter thread, comprising some elements the publisher can consider in developing the best game in the FPS saga.

In their tweets, Ghost mentioned that a perfect Call of Duty game is highly possible if some fan-favorite features are added to the game. For example, Activision can handle the responsibility of designing maps for Treyarch. On the other hand, Infinity Ward should be working on graphics, engine, and all the animations. Ghost also wrote that map voting, movement from classics like Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops 2, and classic minimap should be added as well.

According to the scooper’s tweet, features like Ninja Perk, Traditional Spawns, Hybrid Gunsmith, and Scorestreaks should also be included. Not to mention the TTK (time to kill) based on Treyarch’s Black Ops Cold War experience and a heavily toned down SBMM (skill-based matchmaking) system.

The insider also suggested that to make the overall experience more immersive, a Photo Mode should be included as well. Compared to any other AAA game at the moment, Call of Duty is perhaps the only IP to not feature a dedicated photo mode for the players. It could do wonders for the franchise in case Activision decides to have it in the future.
