Indeed, weapons play an important part for players to keep track of their attack and defense. In order to make decent progress in the main storyline quest, players will need to overcome various challenges. Interestingly, during such tough times, there’s one armor set that they can most definitely rely on.
Well, most Zelda fans are already trying to get special items or armor sets. The famous Soldier Set from BOTW has made its return to TOTK and fans are losing their cool over it. Interestingly, the Soldier’s Armor Set is comprised of three armor pieces:
Soldier’s Helm – Head Gear (Base Defense 4, Sell Value – 45)
Soldier’s Armor – Body Gear (Base Defense 4, Sell Value – 65)
Soldier’s Greaves – Leg Gear (Base Defense 4, Sell Value – 50)
The Soldier set features a Hylian soldier’s armor with one of the highest base defense ratings, and no apparent set bonuses. It can be dyed at the Hateno Dye Shop, or upgraded at the Great Fairy Fountains.

Unlock the Soldier’s Set
While most players will remember the old days of BOTW, they will notice some exciting details about Soldier’s Set. Furthermore, the armor has now been located deep within a cave under Hyrule Castle, known as the Royal Hidden Passage. In addition to that, it’s important to know that there are multiple points of entry for players to explore.
The first entrance is located below the toppled statue on the Observation Deck balcony, located past the First Gatehouse. Players can gain access to the first entrance by using Ultrahand on a floor grate. Surprisingly, the second entrance is not very far away and is a passage next to the Guard’s Chamber.
Regardless, the easiest path will only be accessible after players have completed one of the main Regional Phenomena’s main quests, and return to the Emergency Shelter below Lookout Landing. However, if you are traveling from the Hyrule Castle entrances, the Soldier’s Armor can be found in a stone room buried in the rubble.
It will be located near the larger root-filled cave with an Electric Like. Now, you have to head down the slope and destroy the rubble to enter the stone room. After making your way inside, you will find a hole to drop in and follow the passage to ascend up to the other side behind the bars to find the Soldier’s Armor chest.

The Soldier’s Helm is located in the middle of the cave system in a large underground lake directly below Central Square. However, players need to destroy the rubble and head into the water-logged room to defeat an Ice Like monster guarding the chest. Lastly, before passing through the smaller path, make sure to look for another stone room entrance covered in a ton of rubble.
