Following a long wait and the build-up of curiosity among the players, Sony just revealed its refreshed version of PlayStation Plus. Although it’s not called Spartacus, it merges the already existing PS Now and PS Plus services together.

Now that the PlayStation Plus is officially unveiled, many of the players will be curious, once again, to know complete details about the offering. The Xbox Game Pass rival is set to arrive in June later this year.

Speaking of the service in detail, then PlayStation Plus offers three tiers: Essential, Extra, and Premium. And as the names suggest, they all offer different perks depending on the pricing.

Firstly talking about PlayStation Plus Essential, then it will have its price remain unchanged at $9.99 monthly, $24.99 quarterly, and $59.99 yearly. It will offer benefits like two monthly downloadable titles, exclusive discounts, and a cloud storage option for the saved games.

The second tier is the PlayStation Plus Extra, which will extend the perks mentioned in the first tier. Along with the benefits from the Essential category, it will also offer up to 400 PS4 and PS5 games, including third-party hits. As for pricing, the tier will be $14.99 monthly, $39.99 quarterly, and $99.99 yearly.

Lastly, the PlayStation Premium combines the perks from the first two options while increasing them even further. It will add up to 340 extra games, including PS3 games available through cloud gaming.

PS Premium will further offer a catalog of classic titles, available for both streaming and downloading. Simply put, past games for the PS1, PS2, and PSP consoles will be available as well. Players will also get cloud streaming access for PS1, PS2, PSP, and PS4 games that are offered in the Essential and Extra tiers.

Most notably, time-limited trials of upcoming new releases will also be available under PS Premium. In terms of pricing, the tier will be $17.99 monthly, $49.99 quarterly, and $119.99 yearly.

During the time of the service’s launch, Sony will offer games like God of War, Death Stranding, Marvel’s Spider-Man, and Mortal Kombat 11 among others.
