How is Timed PlayStation Exclusive ‘Deathloop’ Doing in Terms of Sales?

Deathloop is currently the best scoring PlayStation exclusive thanks to several rave reviews. It includes perfect 10s from multiple major outlets such as GameSpot, TheGamer, and more. However, the main question is how the game is doing in terms of sales? Right now, Deathloop is peaked at 20,000 concurrent players.

The game was launched on 14 September 2021 (Tuesday) so it’s been only 4 days. And as time goes on, more players are expected to engage with the title.

In this short amount the time, the game could get only 12,000 players, which puts it around the top 75. Well, it is almost doing as well as Cyberpunk 2077. Meanwhile, Tales of Arise has much more players than Deathloop. Basically, it has triple the amount of players with almost the same amount of press.

The marketing strategy of this game was very uninformative. Looks like the marketing team had a pretty hard time explaining the key concepts of the game. In short, right now the game is not doing well in terms of sales. The only saving grace for Deathloop is that it is extremely good and exciting. Deathloop: gameplay, characters, and storyline

The first-person action game transports players to a weird lawless island of Blackreef in a massive struggle between two assassins. This struggle will ultimately decide the island’s future. You can approach situations as you want.

Hunt down the targets all over the island to finally put an end to this endless cycle once and for all. Players have to use multiple weapons and abilities in order to stop the loop.

However, finding all the targets is not that easy as it sounds. Lurking in the shadows is the evil assassin Juliana whose only motive is to keep the loop ongoing. Looks like Arkane has accomplished something great here, even if the sales numbers are not so high.
