A recent clip of a TV segment between the two surfaced on the internet that makes him seem like any other kid. Musk presented an anecdotal tale from his childhood and how he built a video game that he is now turning into reality. Being at the center of the race to become an interplanetary species is one of his life-long dreams, but the seeds of the idea spawned in his early teens.
Elon Musk stated, “Mom do you remember when I was 12 and I created my own video game called Blastar about a spaceship that battles aliens?”
His mother replied, “I do I remember they paid you $500, but you were too young to open a bank account so I had to open one for you. You Turn that video game about space into reality.”
Musk then added, “Unless you consider that our reality might be a video game, and we’re all just computer simulations being played by a teenager on another planet.”
