GTA+ subscription was announced just a few days ago, and it has now finally gone live across the globe. Rockstar has come up with this offering as a means to give the players of Grand Theft Auto Online exclusive perks and bonuses. Well, it doesn’t seem like that, though, at least going by the ongoing rage on social media.

As soon as Rockstar’s GTA+ went live on Tuesday, the reactions from the fans also started pouring in on Twitter. Not to mention that most of them were not very pleasing for the developer and publisher.

GTA+ is aimed at the players of the Grand Theft Auto Online title. But it’s only for those, individuals who own the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.

It gives both the existing and new users various benefits, as per Rockstar, at the fee of $5.99 per month. Players will receive a recurring monthly bank deposit of GTA$500,000. With this amount, they will be able to spend a lot in the online, virtual open world of Grand Theft Auto.

However, fans are less likely to be going up for this subscription service, whatsoever.

At least, that’s what can be inferred by the latest reactions on Twitter. The majority of the players are not ready to sign up for GTA+. Simply because they think it’s a waste of money for no reasonable value. Especially for the hardcore fanboys of the iconic gaming saga.

Some users even mentioned, while criticizing Rockstar, that the developer and publisher will only lose their player base with such decisions. “I really hope no one pays for this bullshit”, wrote one angry fan.
