Hogwarts Legacy is not very far from launch, and fans are getting all sorts of updates regarding this upcoming game. From numerous spells to customizable brooms and an original story that stands on its own legs.
And after so many new updates regarding this game, there’s even more that fans don’t know yet. The latest piece of update has something very curious to say about this upcoming open-world action role-playing game. And it talks about the much-discussed multiplayer mode.

Recently, the narrative director of Hogwarts Legacy revealed to GamesRadar that the game has over 100 side quests. They also revealed that those side-quests would give players an opportunity to change the outcome of the game’s story once completed.
This choice-based story system is nothing new for the fans of RPG games. Nowadays, gamers often see games promising such features releasing left and right, the latest and most successful being Cyberpunk 2077.
While the game would share this story manipulation aspect with the likes of The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077, there are some more things that this game would take from these games.
The biggest is the lack of any sort of proper multiplayer mode. Now the lack of any sort of multiplayer simply means the game would lack a co-op mode and a competitive multiplayer.
While some are disappointed by the exclusion of this game mode, some are grateful because this game being solely focused on a single-player story means developers had nothing to distract them. Usually including a multiplayer or a co-op mode in a game means developers either divide their team into two, one working on the story and the other on multiplayer, or they give at least a year or two just to this mode.
Developers of Hogwarts Legacy managed to escape both these things by excluding a multiplayer mode altogether.

There is something else though
While Hogwarts Legacy would lack any kind of multiplayer, the developers have made sure to give the player character a bunch of companions. It was revealed a while back that players would be able to befriend some schoolmates in this game and take them as companions on various missions.
This makes sense given the fact that this game’s most side quests seem very character-focused.
