Hogwarts Legacy Reveals Every Detail That Harry Potter Fans Can Enjoy in the Gryffindor Common Room

Every Harry Potter fan has wished to be a witch or wizard and live in the wizarding world. And this dream might soon become a reality with the upcoming video game, Hogwarts Legacy. However, fans might have to wait for a few months. Meanwhile, the game revealed the various common rooms to keep the hype among the fans.

Hogwarts Legacy is an upcoming action RPG game developed by Avalanche Software. The game is set in the 1800s Hogwarts, where the player will take on the role of a fifth-year student who will attend school to learn magic. But while studying, players have to eliminate the dark clouds looming over the wizarding world.

Hogwarts Legacy reveals the Gryffindor Common Room

Every Hogwarts student gets sorted into a Hogwarts House before starting their magical education. There are four Hogwarts houses: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff. Among these four, Gryffindor is an absolute fan favorite, as the novel and movie protagonist, Harry Potter, belonged to this house.

Upcoming Hogwarts Legacy would also have a house system, which will sort players into one of the four houses. So, the wizards and witches with courage, chivalry, nerve, and determination would join Gryffindor. Like in movies and novels, the player’s residence would be the Gryffindor Common Room which Hogwarts Legacy recently unveiled.

What would fans witness in the Gryffindor Common Room?

One of the most important things players must remember is that only Gryffindor students can enter this common room. And this room is located in the Gryffindor Tower. Further, players will find access to the common room behind the portrait of the Fat Lady.

In the Gryffindor Common Room teaser, we can see it is a vast circular room located in a castle tower. The common room is covered in the Gryffindor shades: Red and Gold. It is full of furniture, like cozy chairs, sofas, and tables. Further, there are a lot of portraits in the common room. Players can also spot other decorative items like knight armor and gigantic globes.

The game’s Gryffindor Common Room also has a fireplace, like in the movies and novels. However, the books mentioned a lion portrait over the fireplace. But in Hogwarts Legacy, there was a shield with a lion on it. Further, the room has many lion flags and banners, as the lion is Griffindor’s logo. Also, the room has a staircase leading to the Griffindor dormitories upstairs.
