Hogwarts Legacy: title’s design takes inspiration from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild!
As is already known, the upcoming title will have an immersive open-world environment. It is set in the 1800s, way before the events of J.K. Rowling’s stories featuring the ‘Boy Who Lived’. Hogwarts Legacy will consist of a protagonist who is a fresh student, learning the ways of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Moreover, the game is not directly set in the main Harry Potter timeline or any other related characters. Simply put, you won’t see figures like Hermione, Ron, or even Professor Dumbledore.
Interestingly, though, a new rumor about Hogwarts Legacy just increased the rush curious fans have been feeling. It addresses the title’s supposed design inspirations and what players can expect from it.

Now that’s a lot to digest even for those who are already prepared for the upcoming magical game. It’s extremely mindboggling to just imagine Hogwarts Legacy that the game might be based on the design of The Legend of Zelda. The latter, when it launched in 2017, drew a lot of praise for its appearance and world-building.
And then there is The Last of Us 2 and Ghost of Tsushima as well. Both of them were too great in their respective manner when it comes to level designing.
Hogwarts Legacy releases later in 2022 for PS5, PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox Series X and Series S, Xbox One, and PC.
