Now a new detail has emerged online regarding Hogwarts Legacy and the surprises it might have in store for Harry Potter fanatics. It looks like a very famous location from J.K. Rowling’s wizarding world is set to make an appearance in the upcoming title.
Online listing nearly confirms Gringotts in Hogwarts Legacy
Gringotts is the Wizarding Bank in the world of Harry Potter, located in Great Britain. It was owned and operated by goblins. It was originally founded by a goblin, whose name was Gringott, in the year 1474. The main offices of the bank were located near the North Side of Diagon Alley in London, England.
Apart from storing money and other valuables for the wizards and witches, the bank offered the exchange of Muggle money for wizarding money.

This place is set to appear in the awaited Hogwarts Legacy game as well. A Reddit post that shared a screenshot of an online listing for the video game’s hardcover seemingly confirmed the detail. Its description clearly mentions Gringotts among other locations in the anticipated project.

As you can see in the subreddit above, the official listing has revealed the name of Gringotts bank. It simply means that the vast open world of Hogwarts Legacy will include this map area in case the developing team has made it a crucial part of the storyline. However, it’s yet to be actually revealed in the game itself when it makes its way later this year.
Hogwarts Legacy is set to come out during the Holiday season of 2022. Players will be able to have it on multiple platforms like the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PS4 Pro, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. It will also be there on the Nintendo Switch handheld console.
