There are games that millions of people have fantasized about for years. And one in which you receive your Hogwarts letter and can get lost in the castle, be chosen for one of the four houses, study spells, and ride on a broomstick is undoubtedly at the top of many people’s lists. They promised Hogwarts Legacy in 2020, and now we get to play it three years later.

We’ve had quite a few Harry Potter games. However, nearly none of them succeeded in achieving what all admirers of the magician with the glasses desired. We had books, movies, and even games to help us live on Harry’s journey, but they mostly fell short of our expectations. Hogwarts Legacy developers have recognized the fan’s wishes and incorporated them into the brand-new game.

They have added several side quests into the game to make the game as immersive and lore heavy as possible, giving the gamer the most out of the experience. One of them is guiding the moth to its ultimate resting place, the blank frame. And here is how you do it.

How to play Like a Moth to a Flame in Hogwarts legacy

After years of anticipation, the Harry Potter RPG is finally here. And fans are knee-deep into exploring the magical realms of the game. If you wish to begin the mission, you must first locate Lenora Everleigh. She’ll be in the Central Hall, staring at what looks to be a dark artwork. Go up to her and introduce yourself.

She will disclose that the blank portraits you discovered have lately emerged around Hogwarts, and she is unsure what to do with them. She will also inform you that casting Lumos (a utility spell that allows you to see in dark regions or solve puzzles that require more light) will aid you in your quest.

The spot in question is just a few stairs down from where you are. Cast the spell and then locate Gregory the Smarmy and, more crucially, a moth on the wall next to it.

Cast Lumos once again as you approach the moth and, from that point on, it will follow you anywhere you choose to go under the control of the wand. Then return to the staircase and the wall. Once there, just put a stop with the help of Lumos spell, and the moth will slide into place in the picture.

Once the moth is placed in the painting, you should return to Lenora to claim your rewards, which include 180 XP and Cobalt Regalia. Although there are still more dark pictures to be located around Hogwarts, this will end the side quest.
