There are quite a number of spells players can use while playing the new wizarding game. These are unique and wizards have the opportunity to try out various styles in the game. Here are some moves which make the players deal some insane DPS blows to the opponents.
1. Expelliarmus
This spell is quite familiar to Harry Potter fans as wizards from the books and the movie use it to disarm their opponents. The game has this spell as well. This is a highly recommended early-game spell. Players can unlock it through the completion of the mission ‘Professor Hecat’s Assignment 2’.
After players unlock the spell, keep an eye out for talents. There are two ideal talents that need to be unlocked to make the spell optimal. So, when the talents are available, select ‘Disarming Curse’ and “Ancient Magic Throw Expertise”.
The Disarming Curse talent will inflict curse marks on the enemies, which increases the vulnerability of the target. And moreover increases the subsequent damage that the opponents take.
The ancient Magic Throw Expertise disarms the opponents from their weapons. Additionally, players can use those disarmed weapons to punish their opponents.
2. Descendo
This is another important spell players can use to deal damage to opponents. The spell slams the target on the ground and swooshes them airborne. This surely is a powerful ability. Additionally, players can couple it with talents like ‘Descendo Mastery’ (in level 16) which creates a shockwave when targets are slammed down.
Players can acquire this spell by completing “Professor Onai’s assignment”. The assignment asks players to kill a troll. They can be found on the southwestern side of Hogwarts. After defeating the Troll, pick up the dropped item from their bodies.
The second part of the assignment is to cast depulso on a levitated character. This easily can be acquired. Completing this gives you the spell.
3. Diffindo
This is an ability to throw out a damaging beam-like arch. This is powerful when used with the spell Glacius.
To acquire it, players need to complete two side quests. First, the players need to head over to the missions and finish ‘Professor Sharp’s Assignment 1’. This assignment needs the players to use the ‘Maxima Potion’, ‘Edurus Potion’, and Focus potion. They can be either crafted or bought. Players will get the Depulso spell from them.
