With a hard carry, he brought back his team into the mix. As Talon looked set to dethrone Liquid off its throne, 23savage let emotions get the better of him. Jumping off his seat, 23savage began celebrating along with the crowd, not realizing the gaps left in Talon’s side. Team Liquid quickly seized the opportunity, with the win eventually going to Liquid. It meant 23savage’s early celebration meant they lost out on a massive prize pool.

With this loss, fans could not get enough of the moment. While they empathized with the moment as emotions take over gamers, they found the entire situation hilarious. One fan drew parallels to a Summit1g moment. A former Counter-Strike pro, Summit1g had a similar moment where he had the round in the bag but died before he could defuse the bomb, leading to his team losing the round.

While others laughed at what happened, one fan sympathized with 23savage’s situation. After carrying his team back into the game, losing the match because he celebrated early was a difficult position. It is certainly not a place most gamers want to be in, especially since he brought his team back with the carry.
The saddest part is he single-handedly carried his team back into an almost guaranteed win position after falling very behind.
