With each side bringing new games to the table, exclusives are a topic of hot debate within the gaming community, especially with Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard. High on Life has been one of the most popular releases on Xbox consoles. Made available for Xbox Game Pass holders on release date, the game broke records by becoming one of the biggest third-party launches on the subscription-based service. The game itself is a comical take that sees players fight an alien cartel bent on destroying humanity by using guns that can talk!

While it was an incredible feat, disappointment was rife among fans because PlayStation users could not access the game. However, it looks to be changing. A version of the game appeared in the PlayStation backend, uncovered and reported by a Twitter user. The user in question utilized a website called Orbis that tracks game updates for consoles.

On the website, they found an update for High on Life, titled 1.03, which brings “general bug fixes and improvements”. This could mean the game will soon come to PlayStation 4. Developers Squanch Games could be trying to open a new player base, especially since High on Life will be receiving new content. Titled High on Knife, the announcement for the DLC came last month from Squanch Games CEO Mike Fridley. He reported the game crossed a player count of 7.5 million last month.
