Hideo Kojima Makes A Confident Claim On His Next Project: “Everyone Will Want To Play”

Iconic game designer Hideo Kojima is yet to officially reveal the next big game under his Kojima Productions. But he has a habit of teasing before anything major comes up. Recently, he shared his thoughts on what kind of a project can be expected from him in the future. While mentioning the next game, Hideo Kojima revealed that it will be something that everyone will enjoy.

The legendary director of Death Stranding spoke on a radio show titled “Wonderful World of Game Music”. While commenting on his next game, Hideo Kojima unveiled many details regarding the awaited title. A user named Genki on Twitter shared this news regarding the game designer.

While clarifying all the speculations and theories, he said that the new game won’t be a shooter or even an open world title. In fact, Hideo Kojima wants to make just a smaller project this time which “everyone will want to play“. In between his discussion, he also revealed that Kojima Productions is currently working on an anime as well.

Surprisingly, Hideo Kojima also mentioned that he is running out of staff as of now, because of the pandemic across the globe. He added that his team is having a difficulty in recruiting fresh people under Kojima Productions.

Meanwhile, Hideo Kojima’s 2019 blockbuster open world game, Death Stranding, is set to debut on PC with its extended Director’s Cut. It is set to launch this Spring. The new version comes with added, exclusive content found in the PS5 edition that released last September, in 2021.

Talking about the new game from Hideo Kojima, then surely it has a long way to go unless there comes an official news. In the meantime, players can explore the world of Death Stranding Director’s Cut. The unique, post-apocalyptic game has a captivating storyline.
