RiceGum’s return to the content creation world has once again caused controversy. This 26-year-old streamer has been surrounded by controversy throughout his streaming career. Now while picking the streaming platform of his choice, RiceGum made some bold accusations on Kick. In response to that, xQc has come forward to reply to him.

The former Overwatch pro player xQc recently landed a $100 million non-exclusive deal with Kick. Meanwhile, RiceGum rejected the deal offered by Kick and opted to side with Rumble. But while doing so, he made statements on Kick which were recently answered by Kick’s new signee.

In his recent stream, RiceGum commented how Kick asked him to gamble for 30 days in order to gain the maximum possible revenue. However, xQc has refuted his claims and called anyone who believed RiceGum to be the “stupidest person”. The streamer continued with his rant stating, “I guarantee you he’s the one who brought up gambling in his own thing”.

The streamer revealed that Kick did not ask any of such things to him while discussing the contract. xQc further speculates that RiceGum himself has brought up this topic to the Kick staff and was displeased by the number they offered. He said, “He’s probably gone mad that the amount was not enough. That’s just how it is.”

In response to xQc, RiceGum has come forward to state he was not looking to expose anyone. He was just trying to convey how he felt about the deals and shared his honest opinion with his fans. The response of the fans on this topic is also split into two. While some have taken the side of Kick and xQc, some decided to side with RiceGum.

Fans share a divided reaction to xQc’s opinion

Fans have come in support of xQc for showing solidarity with his platform. They have called the comments from RiceGum a publicity stunt on his return.

A fan even alleged that Kick will not mind losing RiceGum to Rumble.

However, some fans believe RiceGum is actually stating facts. They believe Kick is subtly promoting gambling for its partner company Stake.
