Uncharted is a very popular series of action-adventure video games in the community. Furthermore, the main story revolves around Nathan Drake, who is a treasure hunter. He travels across the world to uncover various historical mysteries. Several players follow Uncharted and are patiently waiting for the upcoming title in the series.

However, when Sony released an Uncharted film teaser, most fans lost their mind. Moreover, the film is influenced by the recent Uncharted title: A Thief’s End. Tom Holland is playing the role of Nathan Drake in the movie and after his recent success with Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans are excited about his upcoming projects.

Interestingly, in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Nathan Drake was at his oldest age; whereas Holland will bring a younger version of Nathan Drake on the screen. Recently, Holland and Neil Druckmann shared their experience of working on Uncharted as a movie and as a game.

Tom Holland and Neil Druckmann’s interview on Uncharted

Neil Druckmann is best known for his work on the Uncharted and The Last of Us video game franchises. In a recent interview with Sony, Tom Holland and Neil Druckmann revealed their experiences while producing Uncharted on two different platforms. Holland asked Neil for how long he’s been working on the idea of a film.

To this, Neil revealed he thought of the idea of Uncharted back in 2006 and always worked on the idea of bringing it to the cinema. During the interview, Holland also revealed what he loved while making the film.

He said, “My favourite that is paying respect to the games is the little puzzles along the way. Whether is it pushing the tile in the crypt or that the door putting two crosses together, that kind of stuff, for me, was my favorite aspect.”

During the interview, Neil asked him if he was nervous about meeting the original Nathan Drake. To which Tom replied,” I actually was, you know. I mean, I was such a big fan of the games and he has such a distinct voice. And the nicest thing for me is that he’s been so supportive of me, kind of inheriting this character and bringing in my new ideas and this new flavor to Nathan Drake.”

At last, Neil also revealed that they are remastering Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy. Moreover, the remastered version will be available on PlayStation 5.
