Xbox and PC owners who have pre-purchased the game’s Vault Edition or the Standard Edition will get early access of the Beta. After preloading all the Beta files and packs, all they will need to do is boot up Modern Warfare 3 on October 12.
After loading the title (in this case COD HQ) first time, they will get the title screen. From there, they will need to navigate to the ‘Play’ section of the game menu.
Once into the ‘Play’ section, they can start a match by selecting any of the Featured Playlists on the screen. They will be having different map and mode combinations. That’s pretty much everything required to do in order to enjoy the Beta. This key intel was shared a few days ago in an official Beta blog.
What’s in store for Modern Warfare 3 Xbox and PC users in the second Beta weekend?
There are more Multiplayer modes available now compared to the first week. Players can try out many options, such as Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, Hardpoint, Ground War, Cutthroat, and Search & Destroy.
Further, they will also get to jump into an extended list of iconic maps from 2009’s Modern Warfare 2. To name a few, there will be Favela, Estate, Highrise, Skidrow, Orlov Military Base and more.

Additionally, the open world Zombies mode was also rumored to come alongside the Multiplayer experience. However, it’s not been confirmed just yet by the devs for the second Beta weekend. Upon MW3’s release, it will feature a large map of Urzikstan, while following a PvE format. Players will need to go against hordes of the undead, loot items, and then extract successfully.
