Ezio was just a boy when his father and brothers were taken from him due to a conspiracy by some very powerful people. Following these events, he was forced to don the hood of an Assassin. This took him on a bloody journey of vengeance where he avenged his family, and then, after recovering from his wounds, went on a trip to Istanbul in an attempt to understand the legacy that he carries. In three games, he went from a rookie to a leader to a mentor.

Fans have wondered for some time what happened to him after his last game. Ubisoft did provide an answer to that question in a short film known as Assassin’s Creed Ambers. In this movie, the legendary Assassin is seen living a peaceful life with his wife Sofia and children Flavia and Marcello.
