The gaming universe of Marvel is about to gain another powerful title in its catalog. Thus far, Marvel’s run within the gaming universe has been lackluster. Nothing has left a significant footnote as compared to the live-action universe, which is arguably the greatest set of movies in modern times. And creators of DC Universe Online, Dimensional Ink Games are now looking to kick-start an MMO game centered in Marvel’s fantastic multiverse.

It is all thanks to the efforts of Jack Emmert, who originally wanted to kick-start the universe with Marvel Heroes back in 2008. However, this title failed to make it to the box office and Jack is making his final attempt. However, this title won’t be added to your gaming library anytime soon, as the insider report suggests the project will kick-start in 2023.

But, whenever the game does materialize, there’s a good chance it could cause problems for DC Universe Online.

It is indeed quite odd to see a gaming studio backing DC Universe and be willing to take a chance with the rival comic universe. It seems like Jack’s effort might finally make this impossible task possible. According to a report by PCGamesN, Jack is expected to play a key role in the development of the game.

The recent Q3 report has revealed noteworthy news about Marvel’s undisclosed IP. It seems like the studio is secretly working on a brand new MMO title, which will definitely make things interesting. This game might jump into production in 2023, which will push its release to a much later point.
