2022 will be a delight year for all the potter heads with Hogwarts Legacy confirmed for a Holiday 2022 release. After a series of delays and prologues wait, wizarding world fans are finally treated with the widely hyped Harry Potter-themed game. As Hogwarts Legacy is set in the 1800s (way before Harry Potter was even born) players get to explore the unwritten deep part of Hogwarts and its secrets.

The wizarding world of this era differs greatly from what fans have already seen in the Harry Potter books and movies. It has dangerous creatures corrupted by magic force, powerful goblins, and sinister witches and wizards. All are willing to fight or even kill for that matter to achieve their ultimate goal. However, the one major similarity the game has with Harry Potter is friendship.

To put it simply, Hogwarts Legacy gives you all the freedom in the world to create your own friend group just like Harry, Hermione, and of course Ron, The classic trio that was loved by everyone.

Hogwarts Legacy – companions

As per the raw gameplay footage, Hogwarts Legacy will allow fans to live like Harry Potter and his friends. Abilities will be taught to players from companions. As players develop relationships with fellow students, they can also accompany the player’s character in his/her journey to unravel the dark truth about Hogwarts. Over time, players can also learn their friend’s stories, leading to better relationships.

As per the official FAQ, “Some students at Hogwarts will become friends. As players grow these relationships, these schoolmates will become companions who can accompany players on their journey, expand their abilities and open up as players learn their stories.” Other than this, players can also explore the unseen areas of Hogwarts castle.
