We all wonder if fateful encounters are genuine or not. However, the world is filled with such incidents, which makes us believe in them. After all, these rare events can change the lives of those who were involved in these events. Like a small Twitch streamer’s life was changed after meeting a gaming creator.

Twitch donation videos are increasingly popular these days, in which the creators donate to a streamer and ask them to do certain things. TwoQuickOnes is one such gaming creator, known for his short-format gaming videos on popular platforms like YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok. He once made a TikTok video in which he donated $1 to a zero-view streamer. But he had no idea that his donation would greatly impact the Twitch streamer’s life.

The Twitch streamer to whom TwoQuickOnes donated a single dollar is James Adamski, better known as Jay_Squatch. He mostly livestreams games like Fortnite and Call of Duty: Warzone. However, the Shorts creator noticed that the streamer had “a pretty gnarly beard”. So he asked the streamer, “How much to shave your beard on stream?”

But Jay gave a surprising response, “Unfortunately, I’m gonna probably lose my beard, so.” It led TwoQuickOnes to ask him why he was going to lose his beard. Jay revealed his reason, “I got the Big C (cancer) my dude. I’ll be okay but all this hair will go away.” So after knowing the reason, TwoQuickOnes shared this story on his social media accounts with Jay’s permission to help him.

Jay’s life was changed by that TikTok video, which went viral nearly a year ago. Who once had zero viewers, now has thousands of viewers on streams. He also has over 41,000 followers on his channel. Further, Jay’s sister-in-law Chelsea Metzger runs an $85,000 fundraising campaign for his cancer treatment.

The good news is that they have not only met their goal but have exceeded it. Furthermore, many of those who donated to his treatment claimed to have discovered him through TwoQuickOnes’ short video.
