Over the years, Nintendo has released numerous special-edition consoles. Some were unique, some quirky, and some were pretty attractive, while others were not as good but appreciable. However, Nintendo never stopped releasing these special editions. And the Nintendo Switch is no exception. This console too has a few special editions to its credit.
While there are 18 of them for the latest Nintendo console, only three of them belong to the OLED variant. With the release of the latest Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom edition being the latest addition to the bunch, here are all three Nintendo Switch OLED special editions out till date.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition

This latest special edition of Switch OLED was launched very recently to celebrate the launch of this game. The console might just be one of the best-looking Switch OLED models out there.
It features Joy-cons with green and golden colors designed after the theme of this upcoming game. The best part is that its dock looks like it’s something out of the game itself. Even though fans anticipated it to be sold out pretty fast, it is still not out of stock. This means that every fan interested in this console can still get their hands on it just yet.
Nintendo Switch OLED Splatoon 3 Edition
Where Zelda-based special editions Switch OLED is elegant, Splatoon 3 edition console screams funk. Its dock looks like someone fired a paintball at it and it also features some textures based on the game itself. The best part about this edition is its Joy-Cons. A good-looking pair of two-toned Joy-Cons.
Many consider this special edition to be the best-looking edition of the three.
Nintendo Switch OLED: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Edition
While many franchises have gotten some really good-looking special edition consoles, it would not be fair if Nintendo’s best-selling franchise did not get this honor. Maybe that’s why Pokemon Scarlet and Violet got their own special edition Nintendo Switch OLED consoles.

The dock of this console features legends from both games on it. On the back side, the dock features the starter Pokemon from both games. And the background is once again some lecture based on the game itself. The controllers on this one feature the insignia of the player’s school in the game.
