Forspoken is released as a console exclusive to PlayStation 5, and PC. The way this game looks, it is pretty evident that it would require a very capable PC to run it in its full glory.
The most important thing for any gamer to know about a game they have been awaiting is its system requirements. It appears the system requirements of Forspoken have finally made it to the internet, only to give more heartbreak to the fans.

When Square Enix revealed Forspoken years ago, no one even knew this game’s name. The only thing they were sure of was the fact that it was indeed a stunning game. Eventually, it was announced that it would be making its way to PlayStation 5, then the PC version was announced.
And now that the release date of this game draws closer, fans cannot wait for another second to explore this stunning new world.
But the system requirements of this game dictate the fact that exploring might not be as easy as they had thought.
The system requirements of this game have been dropped by the developers and they seem a tad high!

RECOMMENDED:
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit or Windows 11 64-bit
- Processor: Ryzen 5 3600 (3.7 GHz or better) / Core i7-8700K

- GPU: Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB / GeForce RTX 3070 8 GB VRAM
- Storage: 150 GB
- Additional Notes: 1440p 30fps
As it is pretty evident from these requirements, running this game at 30fps in 1440p would require an RX 6700XT or RTX 3070 8BG. And this, as every PC gamer might know, is not a small ask.
Here’s hoping this game is not as badly optimized as the Final Fantasy VII PC port.

Console gamers get a bunch of modes too!
As evident in the previously released demo of the game, on PlayStation 5, Forspoken has three different modes.
A performance mode that allows for 60fps gameplay, a Quality mode that runs at 4k 30fps, and a Ray Tracing mode, which runs the game somewhere below 4k but with ray tracing on.

For a console game, these seem like ample enough options, given the amount of power it is asking the PC gamers to run it just at 1440p.
