Dead Space Remake is releasing soon for PlayStation 5, Xbox consoles, and PC. The game is looking as good as we can expect any current-gen remake to look. Alongside lifelike visuals, the game itself has received a bunch of upgrades from developers. They have mentioned they want to offer the players much more than just a visual upgrade to the original.

Now that this game is so close to launch, here is some essential information that no gamer would be able to do without.

Dead Space Remake looks phenomenon! It appears the team at EA Motive Studio has put their heart and soul into this game. Rather than just making a remake that only had some basic visual upgrades, this game comes with tons of new features.

The biggest of them is the much talked about USG Ishimura’s levels that go on without any loading screens. Making this flawless level design happen was the first thing developers talked about when they revealed this game long ago.

The other big and noticeable change was its map. The map, instead of being a full 3D holographic one, has been upgraded to a 2D map with a clear representation of everything.

By the looks of this game, fans might expect the system requirements to be too high, but it appears Motive has done its work on its optimization.

MINIMUM:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: Ryzen 5 2600x, Core i5 8600
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD RX 5700, GTX 1070
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 50 GB available space

RECOMMENDED:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: Ryzen 5 5600X, Core i5 11600K
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Radeon RX 6700 XT, GeForce RTX 2070

  • Storage: 50 GB available space

As it is pretty evident, the game’s recommended requirements are not as high as the games that have launched recently. Games such as Forspoken have an RTX 3070 8GB in its recommended piece of hardware, and that too runs at 1440P 30FPS.

Console graphic modes

The console version of Dead Space Remake would give players ample options to decide how they want to play it.

As with any modern game, the players would be able to choose between fidelity and performance modes.

Fidelity mode would give players a ray-traced enabled 4K image and would run at 30FPS. And performance mode would run at 1440p 60 FPS. It’s nothing out of the ordinary and not surprising at all. Most games nowadays offer this much, only some games lack the ray tracing option altogether.
