The Resident Evil series has seen all kinds of days, from good to bad. However, fans of the series have shown this series ample support. From games to movies, they have religiously followed every aspect of this franchise.
Capcom, too, has done its best to keep things fresh yet familiar for its fans. Every longtime fan will remember that this series started from an isometric perspective. A revolutionary game that was one of the first, if not the first, over-the-shoulder third-person shooters in gaming. The game was naturally a success, and Capcom continued making such games until 6.
Then they returned with Kojima’s playable teaser-inspired Resident Evil VII, which was followed by Resident Evil 4-inspired Village. From haunted houses to haunted villages and haunted cities, these games have seen a lot of transitions.

Or this series could go all-out mythological. Or they can go full horror yet again, but creepy horror, not campy horror like VII and Village.
