However, with the release of the new DLC, Phantom Liberty, this game may have found its feet in the gaming world. Fans have really turned 180 degrees and started liking this open-world title. And now, the company has created buzz amongst fans with the new and upcoming features in the game with the free 2.0 update and the paid DLC: Phantom Liberty.
Cyberpunk 2077: Update 2.0 set to turn things around?

Update 2.0, which is absolutely free, will bring redesigned cyberware with a new capacity system, redesigned skill trees and perks. This new free update will also feature a revamped police system, new vehicles, new vehicular combat, mounted weaponry, an increased level cap, and exciting and endless ‘dynamic events.’ Players will get to relish new radio stations like Community Radio Station Growl FM. There are also some changes in loot, items, and crafting. There are also improvements in the game interface.
If you own an NVIDIA RTX graphics card, then update 2.0 is going to be a treat for you. Patch 2.0 will now have support for DLSS 3.5, which allows ray reconstruction. With this huge graphical feature, the visuals of the game will be a lot smoother and stutter-free.

The story doesn’t end here, as the new DLC, Phantom Liberty, has some exciting new features as well.
New Features in the Phantom Liberty
Phantom Liberty, the only DLC the game is set to receive, will bring major changes to the game. It will feature a new police system. In this system, we are going to see different star levels. The paid DLC will also add a brand-new story and new locations to the game. In this story themed around espionage, you have to save NUSA President Rosalind Myers.

Perks will receive a significant deduction as there will be a more convoluted skill tree. New weapons like Grit, Order, Osprey, Warden, Rasetsu, and many more will also set the arena of Cyberpunk 2077 on fire. Not only weapons, but this paid DLC will showcase an array of vehicles, from military SUVs to brawny muscle cars. A new car, the Quadra Sport R-7 Vigilante, will be available as a bonus for pre-ordering the Phantom Liberty.
