“He Will Not Be Missed” – Following a Possible $150 Million Switch to Kick, Fans Voice Unanimous Support on Streamer Adin Ross Getting Permanently Banned From Twitch

Among the ‘zoomer’ generation of streamers and content creators, one of the most notorious and controversial individuals is the young ex-Twitch star, Adin Ross. His association with some of the most contentious personalities such as Andrew Tate and more, as well as his ‘questionable’ acts and comments, has secured his name in one of the top spots of Twitch’s ban lists.

Previously, Ross has been banned from the platform seven times. Recently, he even posted a short update saying, Twitch is trying to ‘silence’ and ‘threaten’ him. Shortly after, he made an official announcement saying he was moving to the new streaming platform Kick, which has gained a mixed reputation due to its lax rules and guidelines, compared to Twitch. Adin is rumored to have received $150 million for streaming exclusively on Kick for the next two years. 

After moving to Kick, Ross kept on making short streams. The main objective of them was to promote his Kick channel. Promoting another platform is a potential violation of Twitch guidelines, which may be a reason why he got his eighth ban on February 26, 2023. However, this may not be the only reason. 

Why was Adin Ross banned from Twitch again?

In his recent streams on Twitch, he not only promoted his Kick channel but also talked about bringing adult content into his streams. Although he says he will do that on his Kick channel, streaming or promoting adult content is prohibited on Twitch. Which is why he could have gotten the ban this time.

However, this is not confirmed yet. This is why the community has some theories and opinions about what caused Adin to get ‘silenced’ this time. On Reddit, there are theories that suggest that Adin may have breached his contract with Twitch (presumably) which may have compelled them to take the action against him.

While most criticized his actions and supported Twitch’s actions, his loyal fans stated their criticism and voiced in favor of their favorite streamer.
