The content copyright debate is a never-ending discussion in the streaming community. Today, most of the creators heavily rely on the reaction-based format of content. The most recent podcast of H3 is currently bursting off the trending charts. Things took a turn when xQc joined the podcast. A discussion initiated by Ethan, the H3 podcast host accelerated into a heated debate and worsened along. Ethan kept on putting the heat on xQc with allegations of content stealing. The guest seemed evidently uncomfortable as he tried to counter the host. Now, HasanAbi has shared his unfiltered opinion on the whole controversy. Ironically, the opinion was while reacting to the podcast.
“For the record, I believe that xQc does understand it’s not best to react to videos which is my perspective as well. If a content creator genuinely has issues with non-DMCA content, I urge them to take it down. Because ultimately nobody wants other content creators to get fuc**d over. I think the reason why xQc doesn’t give a shit overall is because of the overwhelming majority of content creators either don’t give a sh*t, see a benefit from it, or are scared”, HasanAbi expressed his take. He also criticized the presentation of the host’s argument. The latter quoted, “He Was Unprepared For This. He Is Just Fuc**ng Flailing.”
Besides a creator like HasanAbi extending support to xQc, the controversy seems to have the community divided. Moreover, it has ignited an ugly online battle between xQc and Ethan. The duo was caught in each other’s DM after Ethan shared the screenshots of their chats to Twitter. Undoubtedly, the podcast controversy doesn’t seem to end soon.
