Following a similar plot line, Street Fighter 6 already increased the expectation of the players with Mortal Kombat 1. Fans are speculating that developers might bring some extraordinary features with the upcoming Mortal Kombat title. Following Street Fighter 6’s great success, the Mortal Kombat 1 director won the hearts of his fans again.

Both Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat are based on similar gameplay. These games won over players’ hearts for long. Mortal Kombat is set to release this September. It has brought much anticipation considering Street Fighter 6’s success at the box office. One of its popular players, Mister Crimson, spoke about the improvised gameplay, detailed specs and exciting features of Street Fighter 6, which is enough to blow anyone’s mind.

Crimson’s interview spoke about Street Fighter 6’s new developments. He mentioned how he felt that developers worked pretty hard to improvise with all the past mistakes. Overall, Street Fighter 6 appeared more creative in-game mechanics too. 

Ed Boon on congratulating Street Fighter 6

Recently, the developer of Mortal Kombat 1 Ed Boon took to Twitter to congratulate the Street Fighter franchise on their sixth installment’s success. Ed Boon took a straightforward approach in praising the Street Fighter 6 team- “Kongratulations to the Street Fighter 6 team. 2 million games!” fans believed Boon’s gesture to be amazing towards a competitor. It expressed the solidarity between two companies trying their best to bring out the best in the action-fight genre. 

Fans seemed pretty overwhelmed seeing the post. One of Boon’s followers wrote- “Ed Boone praises the competitor’s game because he respects his competitors.” In this world of competition, Ed Boon seemed to bring a light of hope to fans.

One of the fans spotted speaking about the Mortal Kombat team’s fanboy moment with Street Fighter 6- “The success of SFII was a huge part of why Mortal Kombat got the green light in the 90’s. Easy to see why they’re huge fans of Street Fighter lol.”
