Dr. Disrespect’s $100,000 Fortnite Tournament: Results, Stats, and More Information!

The Two-Timer entered the world of competitive Fortnite by hosting a $100,000 event on May 28th. The tournament followed a duo format, where players were divided into 16 teams, with a no-building rule. As we all know that Fortnite allows users to protect themselves by building around them, the no-building rule was something that made it exciting.

Every duo had to drop into the fictional world to kill all opponent teams on their way. The winner was picked out based on the maximum number of kills in a best of three series. In addition, the winner would advance to the next bracket, with losers fighting in the lower bracket.

BoomTV hosted the event featuring top streamers like Ninja, DrLupo, and the host himself, who got kicked out in the introductory games.

Tfue and Zemie dominated the tournament and bagged the $40,000 prize. Apart from that, the duo’s performance was unparalleled as they lost only one game out of all the ones they played. Typical Gamer and Ranger finished below them, followed by Upshall and MaddyNF. Fans quickly reacted to this as they saw the former Fortnite pro back in style.

Dr. Disrespect and Twitch don’t seem to connect!

But as they say that every good thing has a bad side, Doc faced the same with his dicey relationship with Twitch. The purple platform posted some regulatory concerns that did not allow him to appear, talk, or be part of any participant’s stream. So, even after having such dominance in the gaming industry, the Warzone ace had to stream it on his YouTube channel.
