Call of Duty is one series that makes the best use of updates and gives players regular new content. The Haunting event brings in many exciting features for players to enjoy for the Halloween season. Along with many exciting rewards, the devs have introduced many skins with this update. Recently, one such skin has been making quite a bit of noise in the community.

Activision has showcased its upcoming skin – the Animated Ghoulie Camo. This will be introduced to the game as a part of the Haunting event on October 24. The skin is going to be out a week before Halloween. So players can grab them as they are out. But the one thing that has piqued the interest of many gamers is that the devs have already updated the design of the skin before its release.

The Ghoulie animated camo is a cosmetic item in Call of Duty, which is coming to the game during the Haunting event. It is also one of the few camos in the game that can be applied to almost any weapon. A recent post on X (formerly Twitter) showcased the differences in the looks of the gun before and after it was updated.  The post comes as a clip where the user shows a side-by-side comparison of how the weapon looks.

The original Ghoulie Camo is visibly much brighter than the updated version. While it looked brighter, it was missing out on some critical details. The developers likely enhanced the camo’s appearance, rendering it more polished, complete, and thematically aligned with the Haunting event. This enhancement may have encompassed the addition of intricate details and a more haunting aesthetic.

Developers have recalibrated the camo’s brightness and visual effects to ensure they neither impede gameplay nor hinder its visual appeal. The update likely addressed any prevailing bugs or issues associated with the camo, such as animation glitches or visual artifacts. The camo became available for purchase, using souls, allowing players to acquire it. It is not yet disclosed how many souls would it take players to get their hands on it. This revelation received a lot of attention from the community and the comments were brimming with fan engagement.
