Ever since Microsoft successfully took over Activation Blizzard with a $69 Billion dollar deal, fans have been speculating about a lot of long-lost revivals. The redemption journey for Activision titles began with Microsoft bringing back matchmaking for the FPS giant. Transformers fans were taken by surprise after Hasbro made a bizarre allegation on Activision. Transformers: Devastation, Fall of Cybertron, Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark, and Transformers: War for Cybertron all these Activision-published titles have been unavailable for a while now. The week-old statements that claimed Activision had overlooked the Transformer gaming series immediately grabbed fan attention. As per the allegation, the publishers had lost the original hard drives of the games. Adding on the latter emphasized the frustration of a “company eating a company.”

Speculations have already begun for the series’ addition to a Game Pass. After a convincing apology, Transformers’ arrival at Xbox Game Pass seems imminent, at least fans hope so.

Undoubtedly, with Microsoft moving forward in the acquisition, there are plenty of forgotten titles seeking possible redemption. Transformers making the buzz on the internet might be the time for the developers to explore its archives. Hopefully, ‘no errors’ would be made in the series’ redemption.
