Players can now adjust the font size according to their choice of the game’s menu, which also has a brand new narration feature with adjustable volume. A linear navigation feature has been added as well. This navigation feature allows players to navigate through the UI display without needing to see all the positions of the controls.
343 Industries has also added HUD opacity to the title. This makes every feature on the game’s menu much more visible for low-vision users. Moreover, color-blind players can also enjoy the game without any difficulty thanks to the addition of other colors on the screen than just the usual red and blue.

Now, players have more control over the audio as well as visual adjustments of the game. Plus, there is a range of volume sliders and text-to-speech and speech-to-text options for voice chats.
Paige Johnson (UX/UI producer at 343 Industries) said that all these added features are one of her favorite additions to the game. The sensory settings will give users the freedom to control multiple things such as a radial blur and screen shake, during those quite high-intensity moments in the battles.
Microsoft is also planning to improve accessibility on Xbox in the future. It will include features such as color filters (new and improved), night mode for nighttime gamers, speech-to-text and text-to-speech chat settings. Head over to Xbox Wire Post for complete details.
