Halo Infinite has been out for a better part of over four months now. Although it’s been a good release in its entirety, players have been disappointed lately with the lack of new features, especially game modes.
Most of the players have reported so far that Halo Infinite could’ve been better with a battle royale option. Sadly, there’s been no news on this, until now. Recently, a fresh leak suggested that there might be a BR mode coming soon to the Xbox exclusive in the future.

343 Industries launched the much-awaited game last year in December and before the main release, the multiplayer was already out a month ago. Initially, the feedback from the players was positive and mostly good. They praised the smooth gameplay experience and an overall polished state of the ongoing entry.
But soon after exploring the entire title, majority of the users noticed that Halo Infinite lacked a battle royale mode among many other options. Probably this was the reason the game has so far lost a large number of players on digital store fronts like Steam.
However, a newly leaked report, coming from the Twitter account Infinite Leaks, has claimed that battle royale may be coming finally to Halo Infinite. As per the information, a mode called Tatanka is in the making and might arrive soon.
It’s said to be similar in comparison to a large expansion like Warzone. The latter launched in early 2020 as a standalone BR game following Modern Warfare’s debut in 2019.

Speaking of the options, then Tatanka will reportedly include four modes for the players. They are Tatanka-Duos-UGC, Tatanka-Quads-UGC, Tatanka-DefaultBots-UGC, and Tatanka-Default-UGC. For those not having a clue about UGC, it’s basically a flag used in Halo Infinite for referring to game modes.

Meanwhile, fans had a different approach to this leak. Many of the players didn’t believe that the developing team will introduce a mode like battle royale. Hence, they called out the scooper for spreading wrong news. On other hand, some of the users were curious to see more evidences for the leak. “They need to fix the current game first for god sake”, wrote one frustrated fan.

I mean no that doesn’t confirm it. Technically this could easily apply to BTB. Like if you wanted to que up only against other duos. And you can’t seriously think you would be able to que with squad bots in an actual BR. This seems more like @EnlistedGame

Not against a BR but fuck me if this doesn't look like a bid for more players. Game is missing basic features and game modes but they got the emergency "this will make us money" switch ready. They can't solve desync with 4v4 this BR is gonna be a mess lol

Im confused. Its not a BR like Apex/WZ and stuff but we can queue duos and quads? Can someone explain this im so lost lol is it like 10 teams of 4 or 2 teams of 20? Assuming its 40 people
