The user uploaded a post on the game’s subreddit. The picture is of cases of the licensed Halo-themed Rockstar energy drink.

The Redditors girlfriend acquired it knowing the love her boyfriend has for the game. These drinks are not supposed to be just colorful cans but have value as well. With each can comes a code that can be used for Infinite. This allows the player to win exclusive in-game awards. Adding on, a lucky user just might stand a chance to win the much wanted Xbox Series X as well.

However, OP’s happiness is short-lived. He was under the impression that this promotional campaign ended at the end of 2021. He added in the comments that since he does not have the heart to let his significant other feel let down, he still noted the codes.

However, to his surprise, the promotional campaign is still on. Players can redeem their codes up until March 31, 2022. This leaves OP with ample time to redeem these codes.

This act of both OP and his girlfriend has won the community’s heart. The girlfriend was so considerate that she actively acquired this thinking this would help her boyfriend. Adding on, fans appreciated OP as well. Since he did not want to hurt her feelings, he played along. This act has won the community’s adoration all along.

Redditors felt that as gratitude and asked OP to do something romantic. He replied in a hilarious fashion that he will probably take her to Wendy’s $4 dinner.
