Overall, the game looks pretty, with brand new maps, modes, customizations, and much more. But it’s the Battle Pass where the problem begins. According to the fans, the game’s Battle Pass progression is very slow, which ultimately slows down the overall progression.

Many player in Halo’s Reddit community have some serious concerns about the Battle Pass Progression. One of the fans shared that it’s very difficult to gain in-game XP despite playing for hours. There are many other players who are also facing similar issues. In fact, one fan who is a working professional shared he is not even considering buying a battle pass. Because it’s almost impossible to progress for people who can’t invest much time and only play on the weekends.

It looks like it’s a serious problem that fans are facing right now. Eventually, it could have a negative effect on the playerbase of the game if the devs don’t change things. That said, it’s likely that devs will come up with something to fix this issue.
As confirmed by the devs, it’s still a beta version of the game and will improve in the coming few months.

“I have a challenge to kill someone with the Heatwave. I’ve gotten 5 kills now, and it still isn’t registering that I did it. So not only is the progression painfully slow, but it also can just straight up not work after you go out of your way to get a power weapon.
Edit: Up to 6 Heatwave kills now.”
