Season after season, Halo Infinite received a number of new maps, game modes, weapons and more. And eventually, players started returning to it. 343 continues its commitment to its game by working on it months after its launch. And now, thanks to all that work, they have introduced season 5 of Halo Infinite, which has come with a long list of updates.

Halo Infinite Season 5 gives players yet another reason to install the game. Here’s everything they get in this latest update:
- Extraction game mode from Halo 4 is making a comeback in Halo Infinite. The developers have taken time to reimagine that mode for Halo Infinite and then bring it to this modern era.
- Forge AI is now supported by Halo Infinite. Players can design even better levels, maps, and PVE experiences using this AI-powered tool.
- Now players can also avail of Battle Pass in custom game mode. This means they would be able to unlock stuff from the battle pass even if they were playing a custom game.
- Halo Infinite Players now receive rewards when they reach the “hero” rank.
- The Battle Pass of this new season would be 50 tiers vs. 100 tiers of previous seasons.

- When players zoom in using a 1.6 scope, they do not get recoil.
- This time, players would also be getting a free 20-tier battle pass. No need to spend money on this one; just enjoy the game and unlock new stuff for free!

In addition to the above-mentioned gameplay features, there are a bunch of customization features that are coming to Halo Infinite with this new season:

- Flood-inspired customization items: yes, players would be able to customize their items and equipment with stuff themes after the infamous creepy organisms collectively known as Flood.
- Helmets now have cross-core supports, including the fracture cores.
- Halo Infinite’s Master Chief Armor is now available as an armor kit.

This is a hefty list of changes. Who would have known a developer could change a game so much after almost two years of its launch? But that seems to be a thing nowadays. CD Projekt RED did it for Cyberpunk 2077, Hello Games did it for No Man’s Sky, and 343 is doing it for Halo Infinite.
