Kaitlyn Michelle Siragusa, better known as Amouranth, is a popular content creator. She is a famous Twitch streamer who generally streams under the genre of Just Chatting, ASMR, and hot tub streams. In the past few years, she has skyrocketed the popularity charts. But here’s a throwback to when she declared the mentality she adopted to face hate and take no harm from it.

To give a brief, Amouranth stands with over six million followers on Twitch. One can also see her occasionally streaming games like Mario Kart, Minecraft, and Fortnite. Notably, she was given the Best ASMR Streamer award during The Streamer Awards 2022. Above all, as per GiveMeSport, she has an estimated net worth between $20-25 million. And here’s what she had to say about receiving and handling hate.

Amouranth gave her personal views on dealing with hate in her career

A few months ago, Amouranth and Devin Nash had a vivid discussion about the former’s career. The video was titled “How Amouranth Became Twitch’s #1 Female Creator” where both of them talked about the journey and the future of Amouranth’s career. As they talked, a segment came where she declared her way of dealing with hate.

Amouranth said, “I don’t know. I think in general, my mental stability as far as like being resistant to hate and stuff has always been pretty high from a young age. Because I used to be hated on in school too, because I grew up in the period where it wasn’t cool to be a nerd at all, regardless of your gender but especially if you’re a girl. That’s like very ostracized.”

Furthermore, she voiced how Pokemon and Power Rangers were considered a “boy thing”. Moreover, being the youngest and the only girl in her family, she admitted to having “gravitated towards like the tomboy stuff.”

Furthermore, Amouranth said, “So I was always picked on and ostracized and bullied and throughout my entire life, basically, and you just kind of learned to deal with it. So when I started doing the internet work and getting a lot of hate, it wasn’t that much different. So I think I’ve always been just had a thicker skin from the beginning. And then of course, when you get the money flow coming in, you’re like, it’s worth dealing with. Like, I used to deal with hate for free, you know, I get paid to deal with it so.”

With that, she declared how she faced difficulties yet brought the best from the situation. Thus, one can safely say that despite such happenings she stands as one of the most renowned personalities in the content creation field.
