In the comic universe, Raker (aka Cardinal Raker) is a high-ranking Universal Church in Truth member. He first met the Guardians in 2008, holding the belief battery’s power, which allows him to do anything he believes firmly enough in. However, it is unclear that how much of the context will be implemented in this game.

In the cutscene, we could notice that an odd floating object was accompanying the Raker. We are seemingly quick to guess this might be the belief battery, but then again, we will have to wait and see.

Oliver Prolux, the Senior Producer on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy at Eidos-Montreal, said, ” Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy combines original storytelling and electrifying single-player gameplay with an edgy aesthetic,”
