Rockstar Games studio has had a history with the fans regarding many of its iconic titles. But when it comes to Grand Theft Auto in general, it’s an entirely different situation altogether. Despite being great for many years, recently it has witnessed a negative wave of reactions from the players. Especially for the GTA V installment, which is quite surprising, to say the least.
Nevertheless, a GTA V player recently showed their frustration with the game by doing something that no one else could’ve imagined, for sure.

GTA V fans have mixed thoughts to this player’s action
The seventh main entry in the open-world franchise from Rockstar was released almost nine years ago in 2013. Overall, it was the seventeenth GTA title in the ever-expanding series. Its story follows three central characters namely Michael De Santa, Franklin Clinton, and Trevor Philips.
While GTA V has a massive fanbase, due to its great design and explorable options, not every fan is happy about it. And it was seen recently on Twitter when one player committed to snap their PS4 disc in case of their tweet got more than 500 likes. To their surprise, it went on to gain over a thousand likes instead.
And as promised in the tweet, the player then shared another post in which the GTA V disc for PS4 was seen broken from the middle.
Well we hit the goal and I fulfilled my promise so here you go. #GTA https://t.co/UufKy46KRk pic.twitter.com/1av4qs8Sdm

This was shocking for many other fans of the open-world saga and also the Grand Theft Auto V. Some of them lauded this act from the player while mentioning that the game is bad now and Rockstar is way past its prime.

However, other people didn’t understand this action as they tried to find logic in it. Giving a point, some of the users mentioned that breaking the disc was useless since the player had already spent their money on it. And thus, snapping it was worthless without gaining anything at all. To sum it up, one fan wrote: “And that achieves what? You just lost a great game for no reason.”

I mean, you paid them for it, they have the money, so really, you’re just breaking your own stuff with no gain… I get it’s a message but I just don’t see the gain…
