The first-ever look of the anticipated GTA: Trilogy Definitive Edition just is finally here! And Rockstar Games just might have hit the ball out of the park with this extraordinary remake of some of their most popular titles. The Definitive Edition brings the classic worlds of Liberty City, Vice City, and San Andreas back to life; releasing on all modern platforms.
While the digital copy will be on its way to all platforms soon, Rockstar has something up its sleeve regarding the title’s Xbox Game Pass and PS Now releases. Interestingly, as per the news wire, selected titles’ new versions will also be available for the memberships.

GTA Trilogy: Rockstar’s Sneaky Plans
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy launches on November 11, 2021, digitally on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via their respective stores. But the physical unit releases almost a month after, on December 7, 2021.

As far as Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Now subscribers are concerned, Rockstar revealed their plans for the subscription services. Although only a third of the total share will be available, who doesn’t like surprises?

Starting November 11th, Game Pass members will have access to the all-new Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Definitive Edition. And PS Now members can explore the Definitive Edition of GTA III from December 7, 2021, as per the Rockstar news wire.
The Trilogy was originally developed by Rockstar Games but to catapult the relaunch of these classics; the devs partnered up with Grove Street Games. The title uses Unreal Engine to make the experience “more vibrant and more immersive than ever, celebrating the legacy of the series that redefined interactive entertainment”.

The GTA Trilogy launches in a little over 20 days at the time of writing and pre-orders have already started. You can get your hands on exhilarating new versions of your childhood favorites before the launch from the Rockstar Games Store. Sadly, if you are a collector of video games and wish to order a PS5 variant, you might be disappointed.
