The GTA Trilogy’s Definitive Edition has just been announced by Rockstar, and apart from having upgraded graphics and details, the games will also contain new features as well. While the game will still retain its classic features and feel, it will also get some modern enhancements. According to leakers and data miners, GTA Definitive Edition will get a Grand Theft Auto V-like targeting system and many similar features from the newer GTA games.

GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition to get modern features

Alloc8or, who is usually quite reliable as a dataminer has stated the following in a tweet that was transcribed by TezFunz2.

 

This tweet implies that the games will feature new control schemes akin to the newer Rockstar titles. This information has not yet been confirmed by Rockstar as of yet, but the sources have proven quite dependable in the past.

The modern appeal that would be applied to these classic GTA games would bring in a more fluid and seamless control scheme for the players. The best part about this would be retaining the classic and retro feel of the game whilst having modern enhancements.

The leakers have also mentioned that players who purchase the Definitive Edition of the GTA trilogy will also be eligible for a special discount on their next purchase on the Rockstar Store. This offer is valid till the end of this year.

Players will now have a similar targeting control scheme similar to that of Grand Theft Auto V in the Definitive Edition games. GTA V allows players to choose any form of aiming which might be best suited for them.

This can range from assisted aiming, traditional GTA style aiming, or free aiming. Players will have a lot of different ways to approach while playing the classic titles.

Fans are very much excited to grab their Definitive Edition copies and experience the GTA Trilogy in a wholly different and new fashion.
