When rumors of new DLC for GTA Online dropped, fans were a little curious. They were nevertheless interested in it. The game saw record player numbers at its launch, too. It was no surprise either; Rockstar Games had designed exactly the game that GTA fans had wanted to play for such a long time: a dynamic open-world MMO where everything goes.

Over the years, it has become Rockstar’s biggest success, as it continues to make more and more money by way of microtransactions and shark cards. Hence, it only makes sense for Rockstar to continue supporting online even after the announcement of the much-awaited GTA 6. For one, GTA 6 is only announced as of yet; this game would take at least a year to come. Does this mean Rockstar should cease everything now? Nope, GTA Online is a cash cow, and there’s no way they would stop milking it.
