Ever since its announcement post was shared on social media, GTA 6 has took over the internet, once again. It’s not even fully revealed right now but the hype is only growing stronger each day. Everyone is waiting for its first-ever trailer next month. However, Rockstar’s team may also end up unleashing another big news while revealing the trailer – pre-orders for the next Grand Theft Auto.
Yes, that’s very much possible to happen, thanks to a wild theory based on what the studio did with Red Dead Redemption 2, more than seven years ago. It looks like GTA 6 might follow a similar path in order to offer fans a chance to grab the game in advance. But, there’s also another possibility that might spoil their happiness. Especially, when it comes to managing their pockets.

For the uninitiated, Rockstar Games had released the first-ever Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer on October 20, 2016. Before that, it had even teased the sequel to 2010’s original title with a simple image on social media. Speaking of the teaser footage, it was premiered on various platforms, including YouTube. Interestingly, the description of the game had also contained a pre-order link. In simple words, the studio had the strategy to give the fans an opportunity to buy the title almost two years before it eventually made its way.
Now speaking of GTA 6, Rockstar may use a similar strategy this year as well. It’s already known that the game will receive its trailer in early December, 2023. It is very much possible that alongside the trailer, the devs may also share pre-order links for GTA 6.
