Many people might be wondering why they have never heard of this vehicle. Well, it is simply because it’s a concept car. It is part of Polyphony’s vision series, in which they work with real car manufacturers to create some breathtaking designs. As much as it is known, a full-size real-life project will apparently be on display in the Ferrari Museum in Maranello from December 15, whereas the virtual presence of it can be experienced from December 23 in the Gran Turismo game.

Before Ferrari, Polyphony partnered with the likes of Mercedes and Jaguar to bring their impossible concepts to life in-game. And people think it’s a great way of honoring these legendary brands and bringing something special to their players.

The car would enter the game on December 23 and it has also been announced that if people want early access to this car, they can participate in an in-game quiz.

While we all wait for this dreamlike vehicle to release, let us talk about Polyphony’s interest in the PC market. Recently, founder Kazunori Yamauchi said in an interview that he would be interested in bringing the series to PC.

He specifically said, “Gran Turismo is a very finely tuned title. There are not many platforms which could run the game in 4K/60p natively, so one way we make that possible is to narrow down the platform. It’s not a very easy subject, but of course, we are looking into it and considering it.”

And we do see a reason in this. Due to the range of PC hardware people have, from very low to insane specs, it can get very hard to optimize a game if you don’t have a set of hardware types in mind. Optimizing games for consoles might not be easy, but knowing where to focus, makes the job a lot easier.
