When Final Fantasy XVI was announced, fans were somewhat disappointed by its exclusivity to Sony’s current-gen console, the PlayStation 5. For many, it became one of the first showcases of this console’s graphical power.

While many of the ardent fans of this game awaited its launch, others wanted to see if it would make its way to PC. While many developers from Square Enix refuted any rumors of the PC port of this game, those fans remained hopeful.

And now, they have finally gotten what they wanted. IGN has reported the PC version of Final Fantasy XVI is in fact in production now. The only problem is that this game does not have a launch date as of yet. This means this port might just be in the very early stages of its production.

Fans would be enjoying this game on PC by 2024 if Square Enix’s previous track record is anything to go by. They usually release PC versions of their RPGs within a year of their original launch.
