Starfield Will Need a Gigantic 139 GB of space.

This Space exploration-based title doesn’t seem to compromise with “Space” at all. Previously, it was announced by Bethesda that both the PC and Xbox versions of the game would take up at least 125 GB of your storage. But after Bethesda Head of Publishing, Pete Hines, hinted at the game going gold, and as the preload process has begun on August 17th, 2023 (this is for Xbox Game Pass and Microsoft Store users; Steam users have to wait until August 30th to preload), the game size has been updated on the game’s page on Xbox. As things stand, Starfield is going to take up around 139.84 GB of your Xbox Series X/S’s storage. So, be on the lookout for better storage options.

Although there is no change in the game’s page on Steam or the Microsoft Store, So, the PC version of Starfield will hold around 125 GB of your storage.

The fun fact is that Starfield will take most of the storage on your SSD. It is clearly mentioned in the system requirements pages of Steam, and the Microsoft Store that this game will need an SSD to run; an HDD won’t do the job at all.
