While most of the fans have got the boxed units of the biggest game of 2022, there are still those who haven’t been able to grab God of War Ragnarok despite all their efforts. Yes, the digital versions are there but they want the discs, due to their preferences. Unfortunately, though, their passion for the physical copy of the game is being exploited by scalpers online.
God of War Ragnarok is being sold for $2,000 online by scalpers!
A user on Reddit recently shared a post on the social platform, mentioning the newly released PlayStation exclusive. The user, whose name is u/shivam183, dropped a screenshot showing someone selling Santa Monica Studio’s God of War Ragnarok for $2000 online. Now that’s not a normal scenario, because it’s being sold by a scalper who eventually listed the game online to resell it for an insane amount.
The Reddit user mentioned that the situation regarding the scalpers is really getting out of hand. Because they are consistently coming up with highly expensive physical copies of the PS5 exclusive, especially the Jotnar Edition. It’s a pain for those who want the boxed units but can’t get them somehow in the online stores. In the end, they turn to third-party sellers on the internet, infamously known as scalpers.
Without a doubt, these scalpers are really trying to exploit the consumers and their passion for having the disc version of the blockbuster title. It will be interesting to see how this situation is tackled by PlayStation in the coming days.
